Our third open exhibition, Summer expo ’23 features the work of over 60 artists, working across many disciplines. The show is a celebration of local talent and creativity.
Open until 26th August, Thursday to Saturday 10am-5pm.
We are inviting submissions to the third Summer Open Exhibition, to be held in the Gallery Upstairs from the 3rd to 26th August. Submissions are on a first come first served basis, and limited to one piece per artist. To register your interest please email joy@jhmosaics.co.uk and kateweltonceramics@gmail.com.
The next Showcase will run throughout February, March and April. We are excited to welcome three local artists to the showcase exhibition space, which is located on the first floor at designermakers21. Exhibiting work will be Keeley Chapman, Gemma Hill and Becky Whatley.

Keeley Chapman – Ceramic Sculpture
Handmade clay sculptures, finished using a range of firing techniques including raku, saggar and smoke firing.
Gemma Hill – Photography
Gemma’s photographs often draw inspiration from nature, her dog and horse, and the local countryside. Framed and unframed prints available.
Becky Whatley – Pyrography Painting & Needle Felting
Images from the wild places of the local area, including fens and woodland. The pictures combine oil painting and pyrography, to emphasize the drawing. Needle felted animals in hand dyed colours, will also feature in this exhibition.
