Caryn is a figurative ceramic and mixed media artist based in New Buckenham. She explores personal and social issues using expression, gesture, surface and colour to tell stories that she finds an emotional connection to.
Fusing her other practice of abstract painting with clay, Caryn creates tactile, evocative works that hold both vulnerability and resilience.
She is currently exploring the use of casein paints and encaustic wax in layers over oxides.
