Mad Hat Silver Jewellery
‘I have been a keen crafts person all my life and always had a passion for silver jewellery. I started my silversmithing journey in 2011 when I embarked on my first course at Wensum Lodge in Norwich. I then went on to do a City & Guilds qualification before setting up my own workshop at home.
I enjoy being outside in nature, and love to spend time at the coast which is the inspiration for most of my work. I mainly work in silver, but include copper, brass and seaglass in some of my pieces.
Each piece is individually made by hand and although designs may be similar, each one is unique. I am registered with the Londay Assay Office and my work is hallmarked according to UK legislation.
My other interests include sewing, crochet, photography, kayaking and walking with my Springer Spaniel, Poppy.’
