I am inspired by worn and eroded surfaces – in particular the ever changing East Anglian coast.  The vivid colours and extraordinary shapes combine to communicate a shifting and unpredictable atmosphere which I love to experience and interpret through my designs.

I work in a number of media including felt, printing and photography. I enjoy creating layered images which draw the viewer into hidden places, catching a glimpse of what lies beyond.

Tiny pieces are evolved by layering drawing, paint, print and photographs; these images are selected and enlarged before digital printing onto a range of fabrics. Current work utilises unusual devore fabrics which are suitable for fashion and interior design.
